The Broadcast Send is designed to allow creation and attachment of mass E-mails (newsletters, periodic notifications, etc.). It operates by cycling through all of the customers in the query (not including inactive customers) and sending the E-mail or fax to them.
To use Broadcast, select Broadcast Send from the Sales menu. A dialog will appear. Enter the query that you would like to apply to the customers list. Select an attachment to send. Enter the subject and body text. The body of the E-mail is HTML format or plain text. If you enter HTML, note that line break tags (<br>) may cause additional line breaks. Select whether you want to use E-mail and/or faxing for this send. Then click OK to start sending.
Enable the Create a CSV log file each time Broadcast is run to create a CSV file that is viewable in Excel.

You will find this file in your Export Folder set within the General tab of File > Auto Send Options > General Options. It will be labeled Auto Broadcast Log and have the date and time in the file name.
