Client Operating System Requirements

One of the following is needed:

• MS Vista
• MS Windows XP

EBMS is not supported on Windows 2000 Pro, ME, Windows 98, or Windows 95

Hardware Requirements

Be aware that the operating system requirements are the minimum necessary to run the Eagle Solutions program. Your system may have sufficient resources to run EBMS, but not in an efficient manner. See your computer consultant or an Eagle Solutions consultant for more details or recommendations.

• A Pentium IV Processor or higher
• 512MB of RAM (1 GB RAM or higher recommended)
• Minimum of 2 gigabyte of free disk space initially - Space needs requirements may increase with use.
• Most recent printer driver (Download updated drivers from manufacture's website)
• Monitor with a minimum resolution of 800x600. (1024x768 or greater is advantageous for lengthy documents and lists)
• A PC Based network is required to use this software on a network. The following networks have been tested with this product:
  • Windows 2008 Server
  • Windows 2003 Server
  • Linux File Server
  • XP Peer Network (Less than 8 users)

Printer Requirements

A graphics printer is required since reports are printed in graphics mode for clarity and style. It is recommended that an Inkjet or Laser printer be used for reports rather than a dot matrix printer.

Recommended Printers:

• A laser printer is recommended for lengthy reports because of greater speed.
• An inkjet printer is recommended if color is required or if speed is not a critical issue.
• A dot matrix printer is required if carbon copy forms are used. Laser multiple part forms are available and are the recommended solution. 9-pin dot matrix printers do not print clearly from windows and are not supported.
