Support Plans
Eagle Solutions has two support options available:
A full explanation of both support options is described below.
EBMS Support & Upgrade Subscription ^top
This is a pay-one-price plan that allows for a 2-way interaction between the EBMS user and Eagle Business Software. We encourage input from our customers of ways to make the Eagle Business Management System accounting program more user-friendly and powerful. As they become available, we will share enhanced features and new reports with subscribers. These enhancements will only be available to subscribers of this plan.
This plan gives the user a one-year subscription to the following:
- Free phone and e-mail support for miscellaneous questions (incidents less than 20 min). Compared to $1.50 per minute, minimum 15 minutes per call for non-subscription users.
- Software upgrades from our website as they become available.
- Additional modules and companies are sold and installed at lower rates.
- New Reports as they are developed and become available.
- Payroll Tax Table and forms updates (Federal Withholding, FICA, 1099, W-2, W-3) with IRS code changes.
- Prepaid Customer Support Package Discounts
- Priority Response:
1. A response to your faxes and e-mail messages within one business day.
2. Return phone calls within one business day.
- Free Question/Answer Forums by subject area such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory, Job Costing, and Payroll. Call Eagle Business Software for a complete schedule of upcoming forums.
- Eagle Business Software guarantees the reliability of the software. Any bug fixes are supplied to the customer at no cost.
- Reduced training rates
NOTE: Discontinuing Support & Upgrade Subscription
At the time a user discontinues the support and upgrade subscription, the user forfeits the right to access updated forms, tax tables, reports, software updates, and other support and update options when this subscription is discontinued. An EBMS software upgrade must be purchased before a user may re-subscribe to the support & upgrade subscription.
EBMS Hourly Support Package ^top
Prepaid Hourly Support packages are sold in prepaid time blocks of 4,8, 20, and 50 units. Time is deducted from the prepaid unit balance for the following services:
- Pre-installation meetings with Accountant or other pre-install planning time.
- On site setup and training by an Eagle Business Software Consultant or Trainer.
- Phone training or consulting (over 20 minutes per incident).
- Eagle Business Software Customer Service dials into your computer remotely for purposes of training or setup of EBMS.
- Minor changes to reports, script or customization (minimum of 1 unit).
- Crystal Reports Support Time (phone or on-site).
- Any assistance in configuring or troubleshooting peripherals such as printers, signature capture, payment devices, POS hardware, or any other hardware.
- Assistance with payment merchant account selection, configuration, or troubleshooting.
- If a customer does not have the Subscription Plan, phone support time is deducted from the Support Plan in 15-minute increments.
Level 1 Support: 1 hour is billed at a discounted rate of .75 Units
Level 2 Support: 1 hour = 1 Unit for all sessions with a length of less than 4 hours.
All longer sessions are billed at .75 units per hour. Example: a 4 hour session will be billed using 3 units (all time with your dedicated representative(s) is considered Level 2 support).
A minimum of 1 unit will be billed for any report modification, script programming changes, or hardware configuration. All local onsite training sessions are calculated from the time the consultant leaves the office of Eagle Business Software until the time the consultant leaves the customer’s site (one-way driving time). A minimum of 1 unit will be billed for any onsite session.

In no event shall EBMS/ECC be liable for costs of procurement of substitute products, loss of profits, data, or use of the software product, or special, incidental, or consequential damages or other similar claims, however caused, and on any theory of liability, even if EBMS/ECC has been specifically advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event will EBMS/ECC be liable for any damages to you or any other person that exceed the lower of the suggested list price or the actual purchase price paid for the software product, regardless of the form of the claim. These limitations shall apply notwithstanding any failure of essential purpose of any limited remedy. All third party suppliers to EBMS/ECC of any portion of the software product make no warranty and shall have no liability to you.
