The efficient order entry system within EBMS allows the user to enter a phone order quickly and look up products from the inventory catalog without knowing the part number. Web orders, which include the customer; specific pricing, can be entered directly by the customer. Orders can be entered directly into a sales order by the user or selected from a customer specific product list. The software includes features to properly select and document options for more complex kits or assemblies. Pick sheets, sales order confirmations and other forms can be generated from EBMS. 

EBMS includes a complete inventory management system.  The solution includes tools to manage perpetual inventory using the FIFO, LIFO, or user specified methods. Customers are assigned to a user defined price level which includes a variety of pricing formulas. Costs and list prices can be derived from the most recent purchase cost or from a vendor supplied catalog.  

Accurately fulfilling a customer’s order in a timely manner is critical to insure customersatisfaction. Scanner technology is a cost effective tool to increase the accuracy of tracking items from the time they arrive until they leave the warehouse. Order fulfillment recommendations can be created by the software to reduce labor costs. Interfacing with UPS, FedEx, and other shipping company software increases efficiency and accuracy. This inventory enhancement feature allows a single inventory item to be purchased, stored, and sold from multiple locations. Inventory counts can be tracked within multiple stores or warehouses. Sales and purchase history can be maintained for each location. Multiple warehouses may identify actual warehouses, store locations, or service vehicles.
