EBMS for Orchard & Produce Growers

If you are in the business of growing and selling produce, you need a specific set of tools to do your job that are unique to those industries. EBMS for Orchard and Produce Growers can provide those tools. EBMS has several different modules to make production and sales easier and more efficient for your business.

The first module to come to mind is, of course, the Horticulture module. This module allows the user to map produce within a block or field, as well as labor costs for each variety, field, or block. The Horticulture module also integrates with the Piecework Payroll module to track total and average yields, as well as seamlessly track employee information, pay employees by the piece, and manage labor costs.

How will you track all of this information? The answer lies in the elegant solution of the In Field Harvest Manager module using a Windows tablet. tablet This system allows users to record harvest yields, print barcode labels, and clock in and out employees all on one device while they are in the field or orchard. This device will replace the traditional picker ticket, making it convenient to track and label bins or containers as they are harvested and record all the piecework, labor, and payroll details needed for employees.

Even though a lot of the horticulture industry is done outdoors in the fields and orchards, there is still plenty of administrative work done indoors. EBMS can help with that side of your business as well. For your human resources needs, there is extensive employee reporting in the Payroll module, which includes payroll reports, hire reports, piecework summaries, and W2 details. The Extensive Reporting module uses Crystal Reports to generate reports and can also connect with other software, packing devices, and barcode scanners.

The Sales module of EBMS also comes in handy for growers when they sell their products. This module includes tools such as customer history, product sales, accounts receivables, customer payments, as well as the ability to link to an online eCommerce system. EBMS also uses a sophisticated point-of-sale system called Xpress POS which utilizes touchscreen monitors and EBMS synchronization to make checkout sales faster and more efficient.

From orchard to checkout EBMS will assist you every step of the way. Contact us today to purchase your own EBMS software. Feel free to also stop by and visit us January 27-29 at the 2015 Mid-Atlantic Fruit and Vegetable Convention in Hershey, PA.
